Bout that time again. Baby Mood. 3 months to go and if it all goes like the past, 2 months. So I better get my rear in gear. Things are wearing out, getting old and I have to replace things. Ho joy. Specially with the economy as it is. I have decided to do things a lot differently this time. Yeah, ya live and learn. I am NOT going to buy all those cute diaper bags again, NOR all those expensive outfits I cannot afford anyway that they may wear once and grow out of. SO! I have a plan this time! Yeah, a plan!
Since our house has not sold nor do Ithink it will before Winter now, I am getting a bassinet to put in the bedroom to save room. See?
Then I will have to get a cheapie shelf for clothes. I need new onsies, bottles, burpies
, sleepers and blankets. Our old swing is dead. Not to mention my car seat is junked. So a new one of those is a must too. And again, since it is winter, I want one of these…
WITH the new hats of course! LOL Back to clothes, I am going to get a few really nice things for when we go out…or I should say, like to get…and then the rest just sleepers and warm thingies as I like to keep them bundled at home. Have you seen the KissyKissy brand? Oh my word, I have a few of those from the last two babies that are naturally stained…*snort* But they are so soft and they come in SETS! My fave! I LOVE sets!!!!! Check them out….
Anywho, fun but expensive, eh? LOLOL
ANywho, having a pretty good day so far. Been on partial bedrest since the Fall Fest. Spotting and craming. Usual. Figures.
Have a good day, ya’ll.

Ok, so I thought I better check in. LOL Like my life is all that fired up and important. Hey! We DID get a lady who is wanting to make an offer on our house, only thing is she has to get her loan approved so we are waiting. You know how that goes but we are trusting the Lord. We sure need to get moved before this new one gets here in 3 months and also before snow. So I would appreciate your prayers on that.
LIfe…
*sigh* I AM blessed but man, it seems like I am still getting bombarded. Almost a year (on Friday) since Mom died. A lot of memories and I am just plain ole not fun to be around and trying hard to not let things eat me so much. Had a couple of trips to the hospital. I am fine. Dehydrated, UTI again, yada yada.
Simeon is going through ANOTHER bout being sick as well. I feel horrible for him. Fever, and so much leakage from his ears it is unbelievable. Eye infections, viral infections, bacterial infections. Sheesh. Poor little fella.
On Friday, ALlan and I will be putting together a Fall Fest at the church we are helping in Bloomington. So all the business will help keep my mind off my mother. I went shopping all day today for stuff that I had to get, will cook all day tomorrow and I am pooped. It will be fun though! We have a lineup of great things!
Pumkin Seed Spitting, Pie Throwing at Allan, Apple Bobbing, Donuts on a string, Hot chocolate, hay rides with horses, 4 wheeling, bonfire, hot dog and marshmellow roast, and finally, free pumpkins and a tailgating party at the end!!!!! OH! ANd I forgot, frito boats and dessert and drink! (which is what I am cooking tomorrow)
School Stuff and What we are up to…
You know, I almost have all those state quarters. Do you? I am missing Hawaii and Alaska and then after 10 years, we are done. I did it for a school project and have a cool board to store them all in and everything. I even saved the new and old nickles, and the old quarter with the drummer on it? I have the dollar indian pieces as well. So I feel purt near proud of myself for keeping something up all these years for the kids.
We are also rereading the Grandma’s Attic series. Pretty fun. I loved them as a girl and I love them still. Character building and well, just plain old fun!
We recently had 5 small wooly worms that turned into cacoons and then butterflies…since it was cooler out we kept them inside. Then I found a stick bug and a HUGE praying mantis and put them in the little house with the butterflies. Well, it was sad and cool and a great Science project.Â
And remember those things we had as kids called Sea Monkeys? I found some! I just had to get em for a science project. They are cool!
We have been learning a lot about the Civil War as well.
Ok, I have to get. Stuff to do around here and church tonight.
