Hi guys. sitting here feeling horrible. My throat and ears hurt something awful. Who ever hears of getting a cold in the summer for heavens sake? *sigh* I have a fever too. Go figure.
I am working on our new laptop. It is not a super machine but it is pretty nifty. It is a Dell Inspiron 1525. In other words, its a Dell. Der. 
 We got it with all the bells and whistles. Mainly for school for the girls to do their History and Social Studies on SOS this year. We all like playing on it.  Got a router too so I am online updating my blog while they are all in there on the desktop playing Nancy Drew right now. LOL Allan took a rain day.  The girls love playing games with him on the puter and Nancy Drew games are the bomb according to them.
Ok, I am cutting this short. I feel horrible and I have to get everyone ready tonight early for church. bye ya’ll.

So you have heard me make that comment about wanting to bite my sons cheeks off? Ok, So I could not help myself…
Isn’t that hilarious? LOL The bite on his face is indeed bite marks but from a little girl who is almost 2 in his Sunday School class. She leaned over to kiss him then whammo! He starts screaming. Poor little guy. Love bites!
In this picture however, we cracked up. He was eating off our plates, a bob evans breakfast and Silas had his cheeseburger plate…well, he reached over to Silas’ plate and stole a beego and started munching and chowing down! He loved it. This picture is priceless!

Went to Patoka today with the girls for a little family vacation. Had a blast. We are all burned some but had a great time. We needed it.
Actually, right now, I am trying very hard to keep my butt OFF that etsy site. Just what I need. I want to learn to digi scrap like Julie and Tera but who has time…but then I go to etsy and think I have time for that? Yuh. Right.
So what AM I gonna do, you ask????
Of course, what I always turn to when I have no time.
Martha Pullen, Sew Beautiful, heirloom clothing and of course, ebay. I am of course, preggo. I have an excuse. That and dove candy bars.
Now what AM I gonna do? Hit the tub, read a book and pray I can sleep tonight.

Warning…girly post…a little in depth…
Welpers, went to the OB yesterday for my first visit. It is basically an interview, they get all your history, do a urine, bloodwork, ect ect, ect on ya.
After some review and questions there were some questions raised about a false pregnancy or a ectopic, misscarriage and so on. Since I tested at the end of April with a possitive pregnacy result but yet still had some bleeding and my last monthly was June 17th, I would not even show up pregnant. My bloodwork from my GP was all ferhoodled. It showed that I have not miscarried but was confusing with the numbers and whatnot.
SO! Let’s just do an ultrasound and see what is going on…

I am indeedy pregnant. There is ONE…I repeat ONE bambino. I am 9 weeks. Everything looks fine. Only thing was there was some trace in my urine and that is a watch for gestational diabetes. So are we on another roller coaster ride already!?!?! LOL I mean, I think my body has held up quite well actually, considering I have been pregnant 3 times in the last 3 years.
What is going on with my hormone levels and what we can figure after some more testing is I had a miscarriage and immediately got pregnant again. Hence the confusing numbers. So that makes sense.
Here is a neat part. My Opa, my mother’s dad, was ill with colon cancer and dying when I was born. His birthday was February 10. My mother was due with me on Feb 10! (I was born early on Jan 22) but I would lay in bed with him his last few months. So that means something to me. ANywho, THIS baby of mine is due February 10th as well. I thought that was really neat. Makes it a little special for me since I cannot share any of this with my Mom. Ya kwim?
So thar ya have it. The news from Lake Woebegone. Where all the Men are good looking. All the women are strong and all the kids are above average.
Speaking of that, they are coming to Indy! I SOOOOOO wanna go! Allan, the kids and I love listening to it on the radio every Sat. Along with Click and Clack. Adventures in Odyssey is a given as well AND they are having a live recording! I wanna go!!!. Can you tell we like radio shows? No tv. LOL Helps the imagination and reminds me of the old radio dramas! We love it!

First off, Simeon is fine. Should grow out of it. BUT, this morning he woke up with a 104.3 temp. AGAIN! Got him into the docs office and it is another ear infection. I tell ya, poor baby! So we JUST got home after leaving at 9 am this morn and it is 5 almost now. I need to get supper on but Ineed to sit and well, breathe a moment, I guess.
On another note, I am a little peeved. Not a big deal and I will get over it. But it makes me wonder. We left an outfit of Silas’ in the church van back the first week of June. It is now the first week of July and the people who still have it say they do not have time to run it through town. Um, we only live not even a mile away!?!?!?!? HUH???? I will litterally go 30 minutes out of my way to do something to make it easier to help someone and I almost said I will come pick it up but sheesh, I have so much going on and I am like I said, a little non christian at the moment. SO pardon me while I go pray through.
On another note, I park at Riley this early afternoon for Simeon’s appointment and it is packed in the parking garage. I finally see these spaces for vans. There is a sign I notice when I get out of the van that says For vans of 8 feet or more. Um, WHA??? Never saw that before so I look around and there are several of these signs and then I notice the vans parked in the spots are a dodge caravan, an Astro like van and mayhap a Windstar? The point being I thought, I am in a Chevy venture, looks like theirs, should be ok. Well, after all those hours at Riley, I finally get almost to the interstate and see this thing flapping on my windshield. So I hurry and get it off and it is a TICKET for parking in a space and my van not being at least 8 feet tall!!!!!!!!!!!! What in blue blazes is going on today???? I keep waiting to see if Candid Camera folks are gonna jump out and say, “Gotcha!”. I mean, I never seen or heard of anything like this and did all the other vans like mine get tickets too? I am peeved about that as well.
So my hormones are doubly kicking in today. LOL
Onto Politics.. (oh why not!?!?!)  I cannot for my LIFE figure out why someone would want to vote for a person who will not even salute our flag??? If he is a REAL muslim and they call for a jihad, um, he will HAVE to react, am I not right? Or is he not a real muslim? (Do NOT answer that) and I do NOT want to debate. I hate debate. Just expressin my opinion. I plum just AINT votin at all this time around. Last time was for the birds as well. Does not mean I will not pray for whoever is our leader but I am NOT impressed with the pickens to say the least! Hey!Â
I got an idear! Vote me in! Yeah, specially with my hormonal ways here lately!

Welp…we had a pretty uneventful day. Got up late…which is nice since Simeon JUST started sleeping all night. Then we all sortof lazed around. Grilled out for dinner. Had some friends over and the whole block set off fireworks! LOL We watched the towns show across the street somewhat then everyone cut loose on our own.
After all that I put the babies down and sat in here trying to redo this site and theme. I love this theme and had a hard time trying to figure out one thing but Iam too pooped to finish it tonight. Plus the footer is off…urgh.
Taking Simeon to the Orthopedic doc for his left foot which is really turned in and he falls over it some now. Then my appointment was moved to the day after, have a meeting Monday and well…this week is packed.
I am not sleeping well. Tons of headaches and MAN am I grouchy! These hormones are for the birds!
