Old Fogey Crossing

Welp, Allan was pushing 40, now he is dragging it and I am pushing it for him.  *snort*  I am now 35.  Hard to believe. 

For Allan’s birthday I got him a yard card that said “Old Fogey Crossing.  Happy 40th Dumplin’”  Quite funny Ithought.

For my day, I went to visit Mom’s grave and then drove to Panera Bread for some french onion soup and to read for an hour by myself.  Then I used my gift certificate from Allan for Roberts for a facial and massage.  Got myself a chai.  Upgraded my phone on the New Every Two plan and got this cutsie little thing… Came home and had a pizza party.  The girls and Silas made cards and paper chain and stuff.  Then we watched Narnia and I took a bath and went to bed.

ANywho, it was a nice relaxing day but man, it sure hit me with Mom gone.

Allan and I are going to a B&B this weekend and the girls are paging for a day at the statehouse…I am looking forward to some time alone with Allan.

Still alive and kicking

Welp…howdy do, ya’ll.  Still here.  For now anywho.  *snort*  Cannot get rid of me that fast.

Just had a tooth filled.  Got to schedule my x rays and go to the doc again the 29th about this bruising and whatnot and get some blood work done.  Hopefully this is all just something benign.  Something silly.  Dentist today is curious to what the x rays say too…is that good or bad I wonder?  *snicker*

Shekinah is getting a perm.  Yeah.  I dunno if I am going to regret that or not.

Allan finally got me a wedding ring!  Wanna see???

  

It is a blue diamond. I LOVE it.  He also did really well shopping for me for Christmas.  This was the first year we were able to really shop for each other.  I would have rather had my mom…ANYWHO…he got me a gift cert for Starbucks, Roberts Day Spa and Cato.  I got some perfume as well and some nice chocolates AND…(drumroll here) He got me some lingere.

I got him a leather coat and a gps and some cologne…Guess Suede. 

I put some more pics up on my flickr site…Go look.  Not many but a few.  Do not have time to sit and upload.

Got my moms tombstone ordered.  I think it will look nice.

Ok, so much to say but not really in the mood.  Life goes on.  Hopefully things will come back to normal (whatever that is) before too long and I can sit here and yack and do so more often and bloghop.  I miss you guys.  I truly do.
