What a beautiful day! This weather always puts me in mind to garden! I do not have much of a green thumb and let me tell you…when we move (in a year or so where we have more storage) I plan on veggie gardening and canning. I mean it! *note to self* Right now there is just no room to store anything, so I do not even bother…ANYWHO, we have been here for 12 years now and I have still yet to do anything with the layout in front of our picture window. Can any of you help me? Draw an outline or anything to show me what to do? Something inexpensive as well. I am thinking bushes and just a nice landscape with a little flowering somthing or other…just please HELP!!! I am begging you! Here are some pics…see how awful it looks?Â
Second, I got a little buzz for a topic…Denise was talking of lunch boxes and whatnot to pack for the kidlins…I remember my mom always putting notes in my lunchbox…then when I got older and never took a lunch, she still wrote or got me little notes and I remember no one else getting them and feeling sortof special…ya kwim? I did this with my girls as well when they went to the Christian school here at our home church 2 years ago and always tried to send cute sandwiches, or snacks and a little note every now and then or joke and the girls would come home and tell me how everyone always asked to see what they got for lunch and if they got a note…that made ME feel good too. What do YOU do for your kid’s lunches?
I guess I am really thinking of my kids as I have not been very joyful lately. I have been really convicted about that. Then I got my Above Rubies catalog and it had a couple of editorials about that as well. I need to work on that. Simmone is going through a “Drive Mom absolutely to the edge of her sanity” stage and has for quite a while now and I am not too nice or merciful with her at the moment. I almost carry a grudge…she is driving me nutzoid! Like today, I have Shekinah helping me clean out the van and whatnot and lo and behold, guess what is on the back of the seats in the back row? Oh I think I will barf…boogers. Yup. BOOGERS! I was so upset…here is my 11 year old putting boogers on the back seat! Urgh! Needless to say, she had to clean them off…lucky I did not make her eat em…
See, I am awful! Must be hormones! Anywho, I need to get down and pray for my attitude. Shekinah went through this too…not ness boogers but I DO recall asking Allan if it was normal to feel like you do not like to be around your kids much…so hopefully Simmone will come out of this as well and I will look back and laugh.
In the meantime…pray for me. That I can be joyful…now I have to fix supper.
Mwwwa.

Ok, so went to the OB this morning. The verdict is I am now dilated to a ‘2′ and the same on the thickness…completely thinned… So I am progressing…which means more bed rest and no more going to church for now. I can get up to make something to eat, that sort of thing…but that is it. My insurance FINALLY authorized my steroids so I got my first injection today and my second tomorrow.  Speaking of which, that sucker hurts! Anywho, I was also put on phenegran (sp) to help me with the rls and not sleeping. I have not been sleeping at all and it is really starting to get to me. I am very irratible and angry. Probably from lack of sleep. I can only count two times I had a good rest since I got preggo with Simeon. *sigh* I just hate that. I love being pregnant but last night was a doozy. I am so stinking tired and cannot sleep. All I do is jerk around and keep Allan awake and myself as well. I am just plum exhausted and with only two months to go before D-Day (if I keep this bun in the oven that long) I am getting nervous about not having sleep!!!!! I was also put on another med to help me with this and anxiety since I had such an awful time with postpartum last time as well. He sees a pattern and wants to head that off since I am acting like I did almost when I had Silas and had the severe post partum. Hopefully this helps. This is kindof discouraging to me but then when i think about it, not really. Just precautions and a sleep aid hopefully. Plus some rest to prevent me going into labor since my cervix is not holding up. At least it was better than last time! I am thankful for that! I know God has His hand in all this. Children are a REWARD from the Lord. I am so thankful He has rewarded me and is STILL rewarding me. I am truly blessed! After secondary infertility I do NOT take this lightly!
Lookit this pic of Silas! My little man! He doesn’t look like a baby hardly anymore! WAH!
Stupid puter…
We need another one so bad!!!!!!
Ok, two posts in two days…must be a record for me…so if you have not been here in a while, read both today and yesterdays posts to get the latest…not that I am ‘all that’ and important or anything…just if you are like me and nosy! LOL

Me! Yup! Little ole MOI! I won a free blog design from Ro at Ciao My Bella! I am so stinking excited! I never win anything, thank you very much! And I love the designs from Bella. And I have known Ro for a while… and she is so talented. I am thrilled I tell ya! Thrilled!
Took Silas to the doc for a late 18 month checkup. He is 19 months right now but my insurance mussed up and I had to recert my doc…stupid people. He weighs 22 lbs and is 32.5 inches tall. ANywho, got that figured out and got to go back to our pediatritian whom we all love. She is so old school and I love that. My OB is old school as well. Nice to know there are still docs out there who care about YOU and not about the moolah.
Speaking of OB, I go again Wed. I wonder what he will say about my insurance not permitting my prior auth for the steriod I was supposed to take…*musing* I know I have to mention the severe pain I have been having and my blurry vision. I know my iron is low so that is why I am tired probably…who knows. I know the Lord has His hand on me so I am not worried honestly. I am taking precautions and laying down as much as possible for my ‘modified bed rest’. LOL
Have an event in April I am planning on attending with the church ladies at Bloomington Church where Allan and I have been helping out. We just love it there! Anywho, there is a Ladies Conference at Calvary and this will be the first one I get to attend! I got a babysitter, Allan is taken care of (him and Pastor Barker are going on a fishing trip) and I get to vege out and go to church and EAT with my lady friends! Fun fun fun! We are taking my van to roll around in and going to stay in a hotel.
I need to figure out what to do about Easter outfits. You know, some people emailed me about that doll I got for Simmone for her birthday since it was so expensive…but you see (not that I owe ANYONE an explanation) but you need to remember, we do not have a tv, do not go to movies, my girls do not get their hair done or nails or makeup so that is also expenses. We do not do a lot of electronic games…they have 4 year old game-boys with equally as old games. LOL Anywho, it all measures up if you think about it…but what we DO do is do Easter outfits, Christmas outfits, Banquet outfits, and nice b-day presents. LOL Anywho, We are very frugal. And I save what I can to reward my children periodically.  (why am I telling you all this? Must be bored or feel guilty or something?) Welp, I was wanting to get us all matching outfits. Make a tie for Allan and get him a shirt. He needs shoes so bad. Been 6-7 years since he has had a new pair of church shoes. Then Silas I was gonna make a vest and pants to match Dad’s tie. The tie will match the girls’ and my skirt. I was going to make shells for the girls and I to go under white blouses. But who knows…it all depends on moolah. I need to get to the Fabric store. I may have a little money this weekend so I will plan on hitting up Jo-Ann fabrics then. I need tog et a pattern for a diaper bag anywho…I just do not wanna pay THIS…though I love the bag…
Allan is out getting the taxes done. We still owe but I have really been praying that we get enough of a refund back to pay off our past due notes for State and Fed. REALLY praying. This would be such a blessing.
Ok, gonna get. Awful chatty right now for some reason…

Well, I did it. I caved and let Allan get Silas’ first haircut. I wanted to wait a while. Took forever to get it as long as it was and I wanted to make a huge cupie. Unfortunately, Silas never really got a good dose of hair. LOL So he started looking sortof shabby. I liked it but he did need a little trim I suppose. For his first cut we went to Cookie Cutters. It is a really cute place in Indy. It is expensive but it was his first so we paid the $20 to get it all done. (that was including tip) Wanna see?
(don’t forget you can always click on my pics to see em bigger)
I feel like wiping that grin off Allan’s face! *snort*Â
I wanted a tapered look that I could spike or comb to the side to look nice and neat. He got to watch a little video and sit in this cute chair shaped like a rhino. We got to keep his hair and they put it in a baggie taped to a certificate and his photo on it stating his first hair cut and the date and all. Pretty cute. Got a balloon at the end as well and they have a little play area as well he could play on while we waited for the photo on the certificate to dry. I am definitely letting this grow out before he goes again and this time I am sticking to it! Ya hear that Allan? My poor baby! *tear* And Johanna, dontchoo say one word…lookit Wyatt’s curls. *bawling now*

I got some suprises in the mail today! Totally made my day since I have not been feeling up to par this week! How sweet is this…(click on the first one to see it actual size!)

All of these are from Suzy over at Hare Run Hollow. She is a great lady I have had the pleasure of knowing for a few years now. She has started her own graphics business and boy is she doing a wonderful job! You have got to go check her out for siggies and graphics people! Give her some business! She deserves it! A humongous Thank You to you, Suzy Q!!!!!!! Mwwwwaaaaaaa Â
Â
Off to fix some lunch for us now…I am craving egg rolls! LOL For supper tonight I am fixing bbq chicken on the grill with red potatoes in garlic, broccoli and cheese, corn on the cob and salad. I made a cake last night so Allan is happy. So there is our Friday night meal. I love bbq chicken on the grill! All good and burnt! Yum! Course everyone else likes their chicken to get up and hop around on their plate but I like my meat dead and twice plucked up by the roots.
I think we will have Spring Break next week. I am still unsure. The girls of course are begging…I dunno. Mean mom that I am. LOL Mayhap I will let them have SB next week but Shekinah can do her loom project and Simmone her pottery. They are both still doing school but I am doing the reverse physc on them! LOL
Ok, egg rolls are calling.Â
Don’t forget to check out Suzy!

Well, it is nice and sunshiny out. Seems like Spring is around the corner. Which it is actually. I am totally ready for that, to say the least!
Still have not received my injections. Problems with insurance and trying to get pre-approval for the injection meds. (Stupid insurance). Been actually feeling really weird the last two days and trying to take it easy. I am actually in pain but I will be ok. Â
Had a situation the other day and I about had a nervous breakdown! No kidding! An IRS agent came to my door and flashed a badge and demanded $3200 for a 941 that was not filed. WHAT!?!?!? We are totally on the up and up with the IRS…(stupid government) What is up with that????? I about freaked. Totally. Money is not an issue I wish to discuss at the moment. Stresses me out to the gills. So I found where Allan was and called the business to talk to him. He knew I was extreemly upset, came home and took care of the situation. Seems our tax guy, (stupid person) filed the 941’s wrong!!!!!!!! We DID pay everything. Everyting is fine. Urgh! Needless to say, that night I was having a time of it with this restless leg syndrome that evidently descided to attack me during this pregnancy with a vengence…and Allan told me to go take a bath…so I did. A 2 hour one and read a book, had supper brought to me, got out and ate a piece of pie, and went to bed. Allan took care of everything. Wasn’t that sweet? Put Silas to bed, brought him in for me to kiss good night, the girls came to kiss me good night and I went and slept like a baby. I had only slept this well one other time since I have been pregnant!!!!!! I was so greatful, to say the least!
Reading another cool book. I am into government/spy stuff. As long as it is Christian anywho…found this new author…or at least new to me. Andrew Snaden. Pretty cool book. About the triads/russian mafia and the CIA and so on. Put a bunch about God in it and it makes it reeeeally good! I used to love Lori Wick but all her books are the same anymore. It saddens me. I mean, I have YET to meet a person like her charachters. All are perfect and lovy dovy. Sorry, I ain’t a buyin it!Â
OH! They finally put a little clip of the Drama we did up on the Calvary Website her ein Indy…wanna see? Scroll down to the Collision With Reality to see our church doing a little of the Fire Still Falls skit. And wanna hear some really great music? Go Here…has vids too so you can see them. The sign teams are great!
Ok, I am gonna go work on a new layout…hope this one works better. Got some purtiful graphics to use in time for Spring!
