First off…do any of you other preggo women have probs with wedgies?  *snort*  It is driving me nuts!  And I have several different kinds of panties too!  urgh!

Here we go again!  (but hopefully not in such a severe way as with Silas)  Last Tuesday I started bleeding.  Bright red and so I called my ob.  Had to go in the next day and was told my cervix is thinning out and that I was starting to dilate.  I am not quite at a 1…so that is good.  He put me on modified bedrest.  Basically I can get up to fix a sandwhich, take a shower, that sort of thing but that is it.  Ho boy.  Here we go again.  *sigh*  Simeon seems to still be growing ok and is certainly moving ok!  LOL  He is about 1.6 lbs and has feet that are 2 inches long according to the ultrasound!  Funny, huh?  Bigfoot!  I love it.

Back to the situation however, I called the Pastor’s wife of the church we are helping to ask for prayer and she prayed with me over the phone.  She also put into action a little ‘thing’ where her and another sister from the church were to watch my kidlins from Wed- Sunday!  Ho boy, no, thank you.  I cannot impose…she insisted and so did Allan and my mother concured.  So the kids all went to stay with these two different families for 4 days.  It liked to killed me!  I bawled ans sqwalled to say the least.  It WAS nice and quiet but it is nice to have them back, let me tell you!  I really missed Silas.  I have only been away from him once and for one day and THAT about killed me.  I am relishing having them home again.  Little boogers.

Anywho, I go again Friday to see how I am faring and hopefully I am not dilated or thinned out anymroe.  I have not had anymore bleeding so that is good!  I have been trying to take it really easy.

I know the Lord has all this in His hands and I plan to let the situation stay there…in His hands.  Pray I can!

…I was induced.  On a day like today actually.  Foggy and sortof warm for a Feb!  I threated my ob that I would sue him if I had a ten pound baby and since Shekinah was 9.3 I think he halfway believed me.  So he induced me at 8am and by 12:22 I had another

“Girl Kindof Baby” he bellows when she popped out.  And I do indeed mean she just plunked out!  LOL  She was in a hurry after my induction.  I remember the nurse holding her in, litterally, until my ob got there!

LOL  Simmone Damaris was born this day 11 years ago.  Weighing in at 8lbs and 7 oz and 21 inches long, I did not sue my ob, much to his delight!  *snort* Man, how time flies!

She was such a good baby too!  (I sincerely hope Simeon takes after her!)  She was always so studious of people.  Never really smiling at anyone.  Now she is a comedien in every sense of the word!  And hyper!  Oh Lordie.  She is very sweet.

Simmone comes up with the funniest…and I do mean FUNNY things!  And so innocent too!  I think that is what makes the things she says so hilarious.

I found a new author.  He is great.  You have got to try his books out.  His name is Randy Singer.  Man, I could hardly put the first book down! 

Welp, church tonight again so I better get off here and get dinner on.  I need to do my hair too.  Normal day to day stuff…LOL  Sometimes I love normal though, don’t you?

La-La-La-La

Went to the doc today.  Even with this Winter storm we had…I got out ok.  Was kindof nice not having a ton of people there.  LOL  Got right in and right out.  Got some ultrasound pics too of Simeon.  Still a boy.  Yup.  Nothing fell off or disinegrated.  *snort*  Still taking it easy when possible.

Made a nice dinner for Valentines Day.  Made Prime Rib and taters, noodles and baked beans with salad and cinnamon rolls.  Gave the girls and Allan some candy last night for today.  Could not wait any longer.  I did not get anything (what’s new???  LOL  He forgets) but at least I have healthy children!  I have a warm house and a nice bed and a VAN!  Halayloojer!

Not much else going on.  Trying to ebay a few things for Silas as he is growing.  He needs church clothes.  I have got some really cute hartstrings stuff for him for $.99 and $4 and whatnot.  Cannot beat that, huh!?!?!

Simmone’s birthday is next Tuesday so we are planning a dinner at Texas Roadhouse since their Kids Days are on Monday and we have church on Teusday anywho, and hopefully her doll will be here by then…

Ok, gonna get.  Until next week.  I think I will try to do a little bloghopping while I have a chance here…

Now THIS….Would be the life…

I have been tagged by Pia and Johanna way back when and nevah did my little ditty…sorry guys!  Not that you are in want for my strange facts…

6 Strange Facts About Moi:

  1. I do everything 5 times…I am obsessive compulsive.
  2. I pick my imaginary (and some not so imaginary) chin hairs constantly with tweezers.
  3. I cannot get into my bed unless the sheets are tight and the covers are correct and no crumbs or lint or anything is on the sheets.  I WILL wake Allan up to correct this.  Another imaginary ‘thing’ I deal with.
  4. I can eat Slim Jim beef jerkys by the boatload.
  5. I have a regimen I follow every night during and after my shower.  Failure to do any step in order knocks me for a loop and I have to start all over.
  6. I HAVE to wear perfume.  Different kinds for every outfit.  I range from Eternity, Amarage, Michael Kors, Beautiful, Jessica, Bijan, Georgio, Red, Red Door, ect, ect…LOL

Had a scare the other day…a little spotting and Simeon not moving but Allan and I prayed and Simeon moved and I feel better.  Again, a trust issue I am working on! 

I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone…and I even found out at 2 weeks for goodness sakes!  You would think it would last forevah! 

I have so much to do…so little time to do it.  LOL  Simmone has a birthday coming up and we have been saving to get her a doll she has been wanting for just forever.  A lot of money but as I said, we have been saving and I really want to get this for her. 

Ok, gotta get…more later.  Man, I reeeeally need to do some bloghopping!

Allan just calls me and tells me a guy is coming over for supper and getting ready for church here…I really do not mind but 5 minutes notice!?!?!?!?!?!  He is in the doghouse now!  Urgh, really gotta get now!

Winter Banquet

Welp, Just got home from our Homeschool Winter Banquet.  It was so much fun!  I put Shekinah’s hair in rollers last night after Revival and it took me 2 hours…then 2 more hours to take them out and seperate all the curls and stuff.  Ugh…I think I DO indeedie take my kinky curly hair for granted.  Do NOT ask me why all my chillens have straight hair.  You would think just ONE of them would get my curly hair…but nope.  No chance.  Must be my Murphy’s Law tattoo effecting me again.  Ya reckon?

ANYWHO…had a really great time.  Shekinah asked her friend Ronnie from B-town church to be her guest.  He has been really sick and lost a ton of weight and looks pretty pale but the Lord has really touched him.  He has been up at Riley this week but was able to come and I am so glad.  I think he had a good time.

And of course, Allan and I had a wonderful time.  It was my first banquet since High School and I do not think Allan has ever been to a formal occasion with our church.  He got me a wrist corsage.  Wasn’t that sweet?  Speaking of which, Ronnie got Shekinah one too.  Really pretty, they both were.

Shekinah and her friends had a good time I think.  It just went well all around.

Ok, I think that is it.  The kidlins are at a lock-in right now until 4am.  I am sure having a blast but this old fogey it hitting the tub then the hey!!!!
