Welp, I am back in town from my favorite mother in laws house. And guess what I see? That ‘SMILE’ sign is back up in town! I tell ya, I have to get the guts to go there and change that thar sign to ‘I Smel’ as Andrea suggested! What a hoot!
Got some pics of our little R&R trip…wanna see them all? Then go to my flickr site by clicking on the badge there to the left<<<<<< Here are a couple I could not pass up! Remember you can click on the photos to see them larger.
Ok, nuff pics fer now…
Another camp coming up at Danville church and Shekinah wants to go. Bro. Houseworth will be preaching. He is a prophet. I know that may sound silly to some of you and I have to admit I was skeptical at first myself but you GUYS! I was in shock. I know it is not the man, but Jesus that is shining from him. I am excited he is preaching the camp and hope Shekinah gets a wonderful touch.
I think we are grilling hamburgers on the grill tonight…I think.
Ok, I am having a brain burp. I am so pooped you guys! Later, Taters!

Simmone is over here holding Silas’ feet while he tries to crawl. Sortof like the ‘wheelbarrel’ race. Remember that?  Silas thinks it quite funny.
Father’s Day came and went. I did not get to make my ribs. And as for my famed sauce…let me tell you a story…
I had a teacher in Christian School who made the worlds best chicken and dumplings! She would never give her recipie away…never! There was a church function at her house a couple of years before she died and my mom was helping her in the kitchen and saw all these “Sweet Sue” cans in the trash…mom put two and two together and asked her about it. Mom told her she would keep her secret…but now we all know and have the biggest laugh ever…
I said all that to say this…So if I tell you my secret sauce, I will have to kill you.
**falling out of chair laughing**
We went to Freetown last night to church. I just love those people!
Got a ton of laundry to fold…*sigh* Need to get off here but wanted to post as I will not be on here for a few days as we are planning a trip to the outlaws for a couple of days of r&r. I love Pat, my mil. Anywho, she has a pool and we are all planning to lay like bacon and swim like dolphins. So I will see ya’ll on the flipside…in the meantime, check out Herbies Meme! LOL

Simmone is having her first sleepover tonight. Her friend Esti is coming over from church. I am trying to decide what to cook for dinner…she will be here in an hour.
The Bike-A-Thon is tomorrow. Anyone wanna sponsor my girls? They are planning a 15-20 mile ride. Shekinah has finished it every year. This will be Simmone’s first year since she just learned to ride a bike! Yeah, you read me right…she just learned. We could NOT get the kid to get on her bike for anything…scared she would wreck. Well, duh. LOLOL Anywho, being 10and a half she finally learned. And she did not care if she never learned either. I think Allan threatened her to be honest. *snort* I came home from the Mom’s Night Out thing last week and they were in the alley at 10pm and she was thrilled that she learned and has been riding her bike daily now. Now I need to get Allan a bike and get Silas a seat so we can go on family bike rides!!!!!!
Shekinah was sick the other day…Silas has pink eye in both eyes…and I am plumb pooed and wanna go swimming. *snort*
Father’s Day this Sunday. I am making Allan’s favorite. Ribs. I use Hollywood Cut country style ribs and my special sauce. I have to admit, I DO make some really great ribs!
Some kids from our church are in Trinidad…I am excited for them. They have a blog and will hopefully pics…wanna see?
Welp, I am gonna get. Visit my friend, Stacy’s blog…she is new…so make her feel welcome!

Welp, am back from church camp. What a great time! The services were wonderful, as usual! There is devotions at 10, choir practice at 10:30, afternoon church at 2 then nightly church services at 7. Plus a lot of eating and fun in between. I did not get to enjoy much of that because I had to care for Silas and had to ferry him back and forth to the hotel to nap so he would not be cranky.Â
Hotel…yeah, the ‘roughing it’ hotel. The $40 buck hotel. Riiiiiiight. This hotel had a hot breakfast consisting of bagels, bagels and more bagels. I asked where the bacon was but was told, no bacon, but I can pour you some eggs. Um…excuse me? Did you say POUR me some eggs? No thank you.
Then the walls were paper thin. PAPER thin people. I guess there was only two jacuzzi suites in this hotel and they are side by side. Did I mention Simmone stayed with me? Anywho, the first night…about midnight we hear this thumping…in a repeat thump too mind you…and then some screaming…I am like, Oh Lord…this cannot be happening…all the while checking on Silas to make sure he is still sleeping through the war going on in the other room…when I hear this loud manly roar and a female squeal I figure, ok, this is enough already for heavens sake! By this time, it is after 1am…and Simmone is freaking out…Mommy, is he hurting her? Should we call the police or 911? I about spit. **snort** So I get the phone, dial ZERO and tell the friendly night clerk…can you tell room 338 to um…um…turn the tv down?
There. How is that for fixing things? *snort*
Needless to say, they finally quit ‘killing’ each other. The next two nights were almost as bad but I will spare you the details. Needless to say I got a free hotel stay out of it…I think Allan and I will stay in room 338? Then again, maybe not…

Well, off to church camp for a week. I know we will have a good time. I am staying in a hotel with Silas and Simmone. Get this! I booked online and got a suite, with a king bed, and heart shaped jacuzi tub and also a hot full breakfast for $40 bucks people! $40 bucks! We called to see if the price is right and they said it was actually wrong and they were in the process of changing it so we hung up and hurried up and booked online for they would HAVE to honor it! And they did! How cu-ool is that? My Murphy’s Law tattoo must be in remission! *snort*
We had a WONDERFUL time at the Mom’s Night Out thingie tonight!
I came home and Allan took a pic of Silas…wanna see? Click to see it bigger!

We finally made it! I was so happy I went for the closest Santie and Gave him a big ole peck! Then I started singing, “I saw mommy kissing Santy Claus” much to my girls’ embarassment!
Of course you can see some more photos of our trip by clicking on my flickr badge there to the left <<<<< Also remember that you can click on my photos to see em bigger!
The above photo was taken at a glow in the dark putt putt course! That was totally fun!!!!!Â
We got to Holiday World and rode all the rides. I hit the ground rolling. LOL Allan gets sick easy so he chickened out of most rides. The girls rode all but two coasters. *I* of course rode everything. Being the brave Mama I am. *snort* It stormed on us there but we ate while the park closed and then a ton of people left and it cooled down and sprinkled still so we actually went at a great time. We went to a hotel at Holiday Inn and got a pizza…for free since they mussed up. Had a pillow fight, and Allan crept up on the girls while they slept and freaked them out. We woke them up by jumping on the bed that next morning. We had a nice breakfast there at the hotel and then played puttputt and went to SquireBoon Caverns. We also checked out some cabins you can rent down there as well and we are hoping to do that later this year. All in all, we had a blast!!!!!!! Bec, my best friend, watched Silas for us. I sure missed him but the girls needed us more. This was totally for them. I just got lucky and I think had more fun than they did! Anywho, gotta get supper on so more later, Taters!
