There is this sign on the side of the road here in town by the community building. Sometimes it advertises basketball tryouts, little league ect. Anywho, I noticed the other day it just said SMILE. And you know what? I found myself smiling. Well, yesterday I drive by and smile even bigger for someone had changed the words around to SLIME. *snort* QUITE funny if you ask me. Then today I drive by and someone changed it to LIMES. *falling out of chair laughing* I tell ya, no wonder I love my little redneck town! They are just like me! LOLOL Now I think I will go there tonight and change it…but what to? Give me some idears peeps! I am not that good at word games…
I also have you know that I talked to Allan and since Shekinah is the only gal in the youth group without a John deer t-shirt…we sacrificed…

just what IS is about these silly shirts? Sheesh. I tell ya. Then to top off our sacrifice, the stupid van broke down again. Say a prayer for me people…I am getting really discouraged. K? *sigh*

…awhopbamboo…
Welp, the days are slowly counting down to our Holiday World trip! We had a scare today. The stupid work van broke down at the church parking lot when Allan went to turn off the alarm and open the doors…and he had a $630 house to do today! Our trip money! I was freaking out for the last two years we have prescheduled a trip to HW and never got there because something always fell through. I was in tears and I knew the girls would be too. Especially since we TOLD them we were going this time. The last two times we were scheduled to go we did not tell them…the only reason I told them this time was because they were both talking to us one night about how come we never go on vacation when everyone else always does and so on and so forth…do not want to get into it all…so we told them we WERE actually planning a trip for them. Just them. And they could get whatever they wanted. (which is very unusual as I am so strict number one and pretyt much always say no and we are poor folk number two) I was so desperate when Allan called this morning to tell me what happened I immediately started praying and then I almost broke down and asked this rich brother in our church if he could loan me the money and I would work for him…clean his house, cook, whatever it takes…and those of you who know me, unless my kids are starving I will NOT ask for help. It is very very hard for me. But I know the girls need this. Anywho…I kept praying…called my mom to ask her to pray and then Allan calls back and say’s he got it started!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! So I am still praying nothing happens until after we get bak anyway next Wed! LOLOL Anywho, this is enough I am even telling YOU guys…the only thing is I had to give God the glory! I also am thankful as Shekinah needs clothes so bad. Just day clothes. I had to get Silas some new things since he is growing like a weed and then I got a few things off ebay since I had to have them with the weight loss…and Simmone get’s all Shekinah’s old stuff which she loves…so I HAD to get Shekinah something. I guess John Deer t-shirts are ‘IN’. Do NOT ask me why. She wanted one. She is the only girl to NOT have one in our youth group. *sigh* I just do not have it right now. *sigh again* It makes me feel like an awful mother. Ya kwim? Do any of you guys feel that way? I know some people who just plunk down moolah and think nothing of $16 bucks for a tshirt…sheesh. I get so tired of this sometimes but then I try to count my blessings. I do not want to be unthankful. I try to get my girls to do that as well. They are such great kids! Anywho…I was planning a Wallyworld run to get her some shirts at least as she only has two day shirts. Yes, TWO!!!!! Then I thought why not try the goodwill? I never find anything there but I prayed that the Lord would have somethign there for her. I have you know I got four ‘IN STYLE’ (according to Simmone who helped pick them out) t-shirts and 4 skirts for Shekinah all for $17!!!!!! Praise the Lord! Really cute and like brand new!
Anywho, had to share. Now you see into ‘me’ a little more. Those of you who know me know I do not get too personal on here…but sometimes I let my guard down. LOL
Ok, gonna scoot. I am cravin’ bacon! (I am a bacon FREAK!) I think I will make me a bacon sandwhich and eat the rest of the pack throughout the day! Yup, sounds good to me! *snort* (pun intended)

Ok, Ok, I know it took me 9 months to get his photos taken but sheesh, those who have followed along this journey of his birth and whatnot know he would not have complied anywho…All he did was cry! Remember our families very first family portraits I was SO excited about? I had saved for a year to go there. It was a celebration of my 200lbs weight loss and also the birth of our miracle baby! Here, let me refresh your memory…(remember you can click on the photos to see em big)
And yet another to refresh your memory…
So now do you see why it took us 8 months to get this kid into the studio??? Huh? *snort*
Anywho, I like em. Only cost 4bucks! Can’t beat that! Couldn’t you just eat him up? I know I know, I have the cutest kids. (popping buttons off my shirt)
Welp, gotta get supper started…I made this for breakfast after reading about it at Shine’s blog…it was really funny…Allan took a bite, looked at me and said, “I don’t like it”…I took a bite and said the same thing…then the girls in unison repeated us…YUCK! LOL And here it SOUNDED so good!!!! I at least thought it would smell good! I think I need Shine to just come over and make it! LOL

Here is a pic of me and my kidlins on Mother’s day. Don’t I have the most beautiful kids? I knew you would agree! Click on the photo to see it bigger or you can go to my flickr badge thingamadoogiewhop there on the bottom left hand sidebar and go see a bunch of photos…I just uploaded some more…
Wanna know what happens when you live in my household? Am I expected to kiss this????
Mayhap expecting more than ‘hey’ (see previous post) from him is asking too much, ya reckon? And after 14 years of kissing this face, no wonder I look like this…
Aren’t my kids lucky? I tell ya!

Allan took me and the kidlins to Buca de Bepo last night! I always wanted to go there! he cannot really stand italian food but I love it! So that was my gift. Sheesh, was it expensive! It was fun though! Loud too! Very italian! LOL
I got a cutie patootie in my mailbox today! From Wendi! Wanna See?

Was’nt that sweet?
The other day, when I took Shekinah to the doc, I had so much to do that I did not have time to fix supper so I stopped in at the DQ and got their $1.99 tenderloins and onion rings for us all. Well, I just ate some leftover onion rings that were in the fridge and there was a note on the box…”To Mommy, for lunch!” I tell ya, I have the best kids!Â
I am singing tomorrow for Mother’s Day service along with some friends of mine. We are singing the song, Prayer Warrior. I love that song.Â
Ok, here is something! I think I blogged about it before a few years ago…but I cannot remember…it is STILL going on so it is a current topic of interest. At least to me. How many here are called by enderearments by their spouse? I remember when Allan and I were courting/dating…he would call me ‘Darlin’. I loved the way he would say it too. Tingle my toesies it would! He would kindof whisper it sortof. And say it like this…’dar-lynn’ and let it sortof linger on his lips. *sigh & mooning inserted here* After almost 14 years of marriage it has been chopped up a little now. I get called anything from “Hey!” to ‘hey’ now. Yup. That is the endearment my hubby calls me. Sortof sweet when you think about it. *snort* I have you know I call HIM Dumplin. All the time. He answers to it. I did not know or even realize it was funny until people would laugh. Especially when he answers to it. I mean, I answer to ‘Hey’, why shouldn’t he answer to HIS endearment? I think it is cute…
Anywho, enough for today! I am off to nikibones to find a good crockpot recipie for tomorrow…I am thinking of this…
Tootles…Dumplins!

Dontcha just HATE headaches? I deplore them. (is that a word?) My brain is froze up. Burping, tooting, whatever ya call it. Has got to be this headache.
Silas is down for a nap. Just had a bath. Allan and Simmone went to church…Shekinah is home with me and Silas as she has pink eye.
Yup…pink eye. When it rains it pours. Poor girl. I took her to the doc today and got her meds for that and also for her allergies. Poor kid really suffers.
Simmone went to school finally today. She is doing better today. She did great with her surgery. Still taking it slow though. A couple of friends came over and brought her little gifts. Wasn’t that sweet? Then our pastors wife got her an Adventures in Odyssey cd album. One we did not have so that is nice. Shekinah is listening to that right now.
We are still planning on a trip to Holiday World in a couple of weeks. I am so excited and so are the girls! Just pray for good weather.
Found a site to see how much I should be getting paid! I should be getting $20.67 an hour thank you very much! That brings it to $129,909.00 a year baby! So WHERE is my van, I wanna know? All you home-makers and home-school mommies, go calculate YOUR paycheck!
Finally getting my site finished. Thanks to the help of Tammy! Kudos to you dear heart! Check out her link at the bottom! Country Wordpress Express. For anyone who is like me and has no time and too slow to figure out wp on their own! LOL
Welp, gonna get. I am hungry. I think I will eat, and get ready for bed. Yup. Sounds great!
